Arnot Roberts Rosé - 2024, California

This dry rosé is a blend of majority Touriga Nacional, with Tinta Cão, Trincadeira, and Grenache, all from different vineyards. The grapes are crushed by foot, and allowed to macerate a bit to give light color. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, and the wines are blended and aged together. Pair this fresh, medium-bodied rosé with … everything?

Roero Arneis "Sito dei Fossili", Bric Cenciurio 2022, Italy

This Arneis comes from a prized vineyard site, Sito dei Fossili and is uncommonly complex. The wine is fermented in large, old 20 hl casks and then aged in steel tanks for 1 year. The result is that you have a bottle that will hold up in the cellar for a good decade. This is a fuller style of Arneis with racy acidity and incredible character.

Textura da Estrela Tinto, Textura 2019, Portugal

Dry and medium-bodied. Sourced from 3 blocks in Vila Nova de Tazem from vines up to 60 years old, this is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Jaen, and Alfrocheiro. Fermented in stainless steel with about 1/3 whole clusters, this aged for 15 months in used French oak.

Turley "Juvenile" Zinfandel 2023, USA

Truly California wine royalty, Turley Wine Cellars is known for making blockbuster Zinfandel. This estate was established by Helen Turley's brother, Larry, and features the talents of Teegan Passalasqua, also the winemaker for Sandlands, and a historian of California viticulture. The Juvenile is a blend of several vineyards that have been partially replanted with younger vines. Notes of pepper, spice, and blackberries abound. If you love California Zinfandel, you can’t go wrong with anything from Turley, Ridge (remember last year!), Ravenswood, Dry Creek, or Seghesio, to name just a handful.
